    Updates:

After the second coat of fiber/bondo glass, I took pictures of the filing:

    First layer of Bondo applied:

    Bondo filed:

There are a couple of places where I am going to add some more bondo to fill in some minor holes. As of right now, it's VERY cool looking and is smooth in most areas. The picture is misleading as you can see the differences between bondo and plastic and it looks like it is ledged, but it is really a smooth transition and there are not any major edges.

Here are some pictures of the dash in the car. I just realized that the wet sanding I did at the end faded some of the paint, so I am going to re-sand and re-paint, as well as fill in a couple of really small imperfections that are bugging me.

i would have tried to keep the silver around the dash for that stock look, but that came out awesome

I was thinking about it, but the only problem with keeping the silver is there is no groove there anymore. The "groove" used to go up the entire dash, and that would divide the black from the silver. If I were to try to take it to silver right now, you would see a line dividing the silver and black, and it might not be a perfect line...make sense?

Update: I am re-painting the dash. I put a light coat of bondo over the entire piece and re-sanded it. Still not perfect, but I guess it's just meant to be. Re-painting it as we speak and I will post pictures later tonight. I am going to Cali for 3 weeks on Saturday for business so I will be unable to work on the project for the next 3 weeks.

You can see the small little holes, I'm not sure if I am going to attempt to fix them or not. As far as the overall structure, I am keeping it 100%, I will not be applying any more bondo or major structure adjustments.
