Thread: Redoing system...yet again!

    Talking Redoing system...yet again!

    So I figured I would take advantage of this relatively new work-log section and redo the stereo in my car!

    Well...kinda....I've thought long and hard about my current system and have decided to ditch it for the most part and go with new equipment. I'm basically going to keep the same look just with new equipment.

    Here's what's going to be going into this new set-up:

    Audison LRx 4.300
    Audison LRx 1.400

    Focal 40KX sub (15" sub)
    Focal Beryllium Tweeters

    still keeping the K2P mids though since they are one awesome set of mids....

    I'll be posting up pics etc of everything that goes on, if anyone is interested that is...

    the sub and amps shipped out on monday the first so they should be here this week, placing the order for the tweets tomorrow!

    Very interested! I know very little about high end audio and would love to follow the progress to see what's involved.

    I just might be switching to linux in the car if I can figure it out...that or I have a free mac mini wating for me at my boyfriends sisters place that I need to pick up....the only thing is that there is not a laptop drive big enough for me and my music files!

    not so much of an audison sponsorship, as much as I'm able to get their amps at a good deal, now if we win finals this year.....it might be a different story next year!

    Plug a portable firewire external into it. I saw a 250 for less than $200 the other day.

    yeah - it just kinda going around the point of using the Mac Mini to me...lol

    I'll keep looking into it and see if I think it will work though!
