Hey there,
I've been doing this project for the past month and it's almost time to install. I have pictures and videos.
Here's my setup:
(Hardware)
Epia M10000 OverClocked to 1.2ghz
Tview 700TS monitor (thing's a dream)
512 Ram
Dvd-Slot load pioneer rom
160gb IDE HD
holux 210m GPS
Sound blaster Live! external 24bit
Ikea Karbo Keybox Case
(Software)
Windows XP Pro SP2 stripped down to level 3(tweakhound)
RoadRunner with BMV2.1 Brush Alum Skin
Winamp lite with tripex vis
Iguidance 2.1 GPS software
So far I've cut the case and drilled the holes for the screws/washers, installed the mobo, installed the OS and got RR running to my likes. Here's a video of the touchscreen in action (26mb)

Here are some pics of me taking apart the monitor and test fitting it into my spare bezel.

mkay - that's a lot of pics of the same thing!
I'm sure someone with that kind of screen will be interested in those pics though. Some people are rather nervous about taking apart their screen because they are worried that they might damage something back there....
I'd love to see pics of where you are going to put everything if you have them!

Pics have got to be 800X600 max. It's in the rules.![]()
Peace,

thats alot of foto's
is overcloaking a good idea. considering these mobo's will get hotter than normal?
wouldn't it be wise then to have a plug in that automatically resizes them for the board and links them to the full size pic?Originally Posted by Rafster

wariow, If I were you I would frab the original bezel because if you don't your going to have problems mount the screen into place.
Yeah, that would be really great. I know it would save a lot of time/forum bandwith reminding people toOriginally Posted by Red GTi VR6

Will start bondo over the weekend, it shoudn't be too hard. i'll start the wire work while i wait for the bondo to cure, then it' off to sand and more sanding.
For paint, i'm gonna try to keep it flat black but wiht a thin layer of clear and a quick 1000+ grit sand to match that oem matt look.
Any comments/suggestions welcome!
