Those of you looking who are looking for consult connector, I have a few in stock. let me know if you need one.
I'm not running the Consult software, just DataScan. I actually sold the laptop I ran it on, so I need to find something else to use with it. I love my PLMS cable...thier product is good quality, IMHO. The DataScan software won't accept any other inputs such as wideband 02.Originally Posted by rb240det

Yea, those have been one of my favorite cars as well.....
I've played with one of those 12" sony laptops and they are pretty nice, not personally a sony fan myself but it is definitely small and light. You might also want to check into Dell, they have a Laptop X1 that is incredibly small/thin/light, doesn't have a builtin cd drive but depends how you will be using it, but you really won't believe how light it is until you pick it up.

Heya, I am a newb but I am searching all i can across the forum, hehe,
i wonder if you are still up on this project?
I am gathering as much info I can, I have a 91 240sx, I know about consult (not that i've seen it in person) and this made me curious.
If I'm to built a carputer, it would be interesting to have various diagnostic readouts. What else can be done?
i have a 93 240sx im working on...when its done ill take pics and post in the "show your ride" forum so stay posted.Originally Posted by a_ahmed
