At the moment, i'm half-way building my caddy-puter.
Components used:
Macrom speakers, 120w RMS each
Macrom
amplifier, 2 channel, 250w RMS
Caliber
wiring/fusebox
Liliput 7" TS
60GB 2,5" harddrive
Slimline DVD
Components ordered:
M1-ATX
Via Epia M10000
2x Pioneer 8" subs (will be mounted behind seats)
This is my car, a Volkswagen Caddy 1.9TDI
This is how my 'trunk' looks now. Everything will be carpetted in the end..
This is the wall where everything fits in. As you can see, there is already a 15ich TFT, amplifier, mainboard, wiring and a fusebox mounted. The wooden 'box' with all the components is painted black, that's the reason why you see a black stroke around the glass. Later this all will be carpented. Afterwards, i will add some neon sticks/colored coolers behind the glass.
The fusebox, with 1 cable from the front to the back, 1 cable for the PC, 1 for AMP1, 1 for AMP2 (subs), and a spare-one for later use. Only 1 cable is connected by now.
Because i don't have my carputer fully installed, and no headunit with line-out, i use my PDA for temporary
music.
These are my macrom speakers, crossovers are hidden in my dash.
This is how i mounted my tweeters. Cheap, but fits perfectly!
My 7" liliput is ready also, but i don't have pictures of it, i will post them later. It looks really stock!
My project will be ready in about 3 weeks. I'll keep u posted!
PS. Sorry for the crappy english
