Thread: 05 Str8 Black XB

I use frodoplayer and it's not hard to add a scion logo to it, i just haven't gotten around to messing with the skin. I like everything about FP except for the fact that i can't figure out how to make a playlist, all i can do is add songs/videos to my "favorites" so it's basically 1 big playlist, but i'd like to make my own individual ones. I haven't been able to find an answer to how to make one either...

Also, with WMP installed for some reason you can't play DvD's in FrodoPlayer, the screen just stays black....

I have a scionlogo wallpaper...... and it is the default album art when no album art exists in frodoplayer......

As for keyboard, I have been looking at a gyration mouse and keyboard combo.... I rarley use a keyboard anymore, so I can't justify spending the money.

yeah i was looking at the same combination and ialmost bought it today at circuit city but i wanna see if i can get it any cheaper. I also wish it cam out in black and silver instead of blue and silver.

Here is a couple pics of my dash piece which still needs to be sprayed with clear or i might use a rubbing compound and just buff it. It was cleared before but the black part went crazy just before it was fully dry. So i had to wetsand it therefore right now it looks horrible. I will have better pics when i install it in the car.

I think it's going to look bad *** when it's done man, thanks for the pics! I wish i could see a good recessed job just so i can choose what i want to do. Let me know if you get a lot of glare with it like that.

How far recessed are you looking to do it? Are you going to do the 7" screen. I think I have some pics of an install like that and I am planning one for another member of our club.

I get almost no glare from mine because of the design of the car and the angle of the screen. Mine works great and is about the same as his but larger.

ill keep you guys updated and i hop to have my screen done by this weekend depending on my schedule.

Yea the 7" lili. I don't mind it being flush as it's probably easier to do and i don't have to hack off the Lili's buttons, all i'm worried about is glare... Right now i have mine about .5" out from where it would be "flush" (pics are on my cardomain in my sig) and i get glare. Of course it's only when the sun is shining in from the sides like from the back corners of the car towards the front (right at the screen lol) and my front windows aren't tinted ... i'm working on that too lol

But honestly the glare is rare (lol) so i can live with it, as it is i'm runnin windows and having to deal with that

ill let you know if there is glare or not but i really do not think it should be a problem if you have tinted windows.
