ok so i buffed my dash piece today but i now have to wetsand again and this time i wont rush it. I missed some key spots when i was wetsanding and they stood out after i waxed the piece so i have to redo the piece. So it will take me a little longer to get the pics up. Anyways my screen is messed up. I think one of the ribbons is bad so i ordered a new one and if thats not the problem then im screwed.

ok so today i hooked up my new mouse and keyboard and my external soundcard. I have one problem. I hear a lot of fuzziness coming out of my speakers when i have the soundcard connected. COuld this be because of the power inverter?and if it is is there any way it can be fixed?

Oh yeah i also have to repaint my dash so the pics of the dash will come much later than i thought. It kinda sucks becuse after about 7 months of working on this i am almost done and i cant finish it because the dash piece is messed up. Oh well.

I would say it probably is because the inverter ... my guess is that the addition of a soundcard will obviously use more power so the inverter is putting out more which i think would cause more "noise"? I think "sine" inverter's are supposed to REDUCE noise but there's no real way to get completely rid of it with an inverter, at least that's what i've heard.

I ditched my inverter for my OPUS simply because with an inverter i had that + a PSU and it made more sense just to get one unit, especially for space wise and the adition of a startup/shut down controller is nice too. I haven't noticed ANY noise like my inverter cause with the opus i have now i'm liking it ... if only i could buy a mini-itx board and mobile amd chip ^_^

I'd say it should being that it powers my sheit. I don't have it powering my monitor 'yet' but i'm going to try soon. If anything you could swap out the dvd/cd burner for a slim drive (i'm planning on doing it too cause i know the dvd burner uses a lot of juice when running).

Anyhow, i think my parts would use more power than what you listed so you should be good with the OPUS 150, it's worth it man trust me
