Ok i got some more pics of the armrest buttons, and i got the armrest taped and foiled so I'm going to get to glassing it ASAP. But I'm a little unsure of how I'm going to get the buttons ran into the PC so i may just glass the armrest fr use if i ever get this figured out, or i may try and find like an all in wonder type of remote to integrate into the armrest. What i meant schpanky was that maybe the water accumultaes and falls into the trunk from the vert being up and down i dunno never had a vert

OBTW im thinking of going with the same mobo as you but i cannot find it w/o the case! and i plan on making my own case so its useless for me to spend 199 with case when i can do 60 for an asus almost the same but i really want Nvidia and 2 agp outs

So are you running Nav on your lilli? How does it look?

Armrest idea but is subject to change till i figure out how to integrate it

In between the bracing the trunk lid just looks aweful. I saw a few places that sell carpeted ones with like mustang GT on them but i think if the fiber goes well i may just make it smooth and paint it red ill get pics when i get her back.

While the idea of having the controls in the armrest is a cool idea, I think you may need to rethink the functionality of it. To me it seems like it would be awkward to use the controls. And also it would be uncomfortable to have your arm resting on the volume knob.

I haven't researched this, but has anyone considering fitting some controls into the face of the steering wheel? I don't have cruise contorl (GTs) so I was thinking I could get some cruise contorl buttons, scratch off the icons and make my own decals to over the buttons.. I dunno, just an idea

Luckily I have my den/shop/hideyhole where over the years she's learned not to clean or otherwise disturb.The part that makes her mad is that just when I do manage to get the project done,I've though of some new way I want to do it,and it starts all over again.

Been a few days and still the resin hasn't completely hardened. damn cold front, so i got the car back today and in need of a tune-up bad so i got some colder plugs msd cap and rotor and some crappy wires till i get the ignition in. Ive got a few dollars left over so if i can find the mobo I'm wanting i may order tonight or this weekend. My goal is to get all the wires ran fitted then lastly drop the processor and RAM in and walla. I'm thinking of putting the power supply in the dash and the PC in the armrest GOOD?BAD or INDIFFERENT?

Hey man, there's nuthin' wrong with an automatic GT

my 95 is automatic and it was wicked cheap as well. I couldn't pass it up. I think it's probably the reason they're somewhat cheaper - people want a stick. I have a pedal assembly for a stick and the trans and most of the other parts to convert the car but I kind of like the automatic. Plus I already have a stick Mustang. I do like driving in traffic with the auto, though!

Why did you go with colder plugs (hopefully only one range)? What did you go with? Autolite 24s? They're not really necessary unless you have some other mods like nitrous, forced induction or a motor with high compression. I put them in when I got my 5115 dry kit just as a safeguard to overheating the plug.

I think your project is going well. It makes me want to tear in to my 95...something I didn't want to do when I originally bought it, but is getting harder and harder to fight the urge!

Has your resin hardened yet?

Yeah i know but i hate that if i take her in 1 i can just about run anyone to 50 but if i try it in D im left behind

Yeah just 1 range i went with the 24's mainly cause they was outta 25's and because you never know i may just get the urge to bottle feed

But the good thing is i found someone who can paint my dash for me once its done

gonna start black and work my way to a brushed aluminum look i think

Yeah, I know what that's like. Those transmissions are not the most efficient. Lots of power lost through them. I had a friend who had a Vortech blown 88 LX the thing made 453 HP with an AOD in it. He converted to stick and found the trans was sucking up over 40 HP!

I definitely will. I am leaning toward swapping for next year. I have a set of AFR 165 heads (from the 88 LX I was talking about up there) that are just sitting here...

Yeah, I know what you mean! I've had my dash apart on my 87 for most of the summer. My project is here and you can see what I mean

Well the resin still hasn't hardened yet! So i'm going to go into work early Sunday and do another layer and do double the hardener on it. I'm going to do a tune-up with some plugs and wires tomorrow then i may just wash her up and take some exterior pics.
