I Still need to find a better place to mount the display, i'd like it too look OEM when i am done. Need to get a DC-DC Powersupply w/shutdown controler. Replace the GPS with a better one, that supports external antenna(a dual wifi/gps antena would be nice). Also need to rerun all the wires so they are much much neater, and out of sight
last note, i need to get a spellchecker for this form.
where are the pics?
this weekend i am upgrading my wire-ing. from battery to trunk, going to run 2ga, to a distro box. same for ground(from chassis tho, will sand area to bare metal)
i'll try to take a before/after picture
I managed to get rid of hum and alt. noise by upgrading the car wireing
i'm getting ready to install subs, today i installed a 2AWG amp kit, replacing the 8AWG that was running to the trunk. Installed a distro block, 1- 2AWG in - 4 8 AWG out.
hopefully Next weekend i'll be installing 2 - 12" PowerAcustic FUBAR speakers and a 2400 Watt Class D Amp. Will also be building a boot for the carputer.
installtion pics comming soon.
I was driving home from work today, and thought, ya know, why don't i hit a deer. Repair damange - (ebay thank god) $470
i'll try to get some deer pics in the am.
here some pics(night time)
i'll get some day time pics up soon too.
(donations welcome )
Insurance didn't cover your accident? Most do, it falls under "act of God" or something like that. It doesn't count against you and you don't have to pay a deductible, you just have to make sure to tell them that the deer hit you, you didn't run into it.
