Looking forward for more pictures and information on the process!
Looks real good.
I have ripped your idea with using an old dualdin radio and the lilliput screen fits perfect.
Waiting for the miniITX board now. I plan to mount this board behind the LCD in the same housing. A "Portable" computer if it all works.
Is it possible to get a copy of the Bios screen? I love it!
How have you solved the Power On/Off for the screen?
My Lilliput screen is default off then i connect the power to it.
/Best regards
Michael
While this may look good, there are flaws (cracks from where the fiberglass didn't hold well, and while they were filled in, still surfaced after painting). I also want to redo the paint a bit. So I will need to do another attempt later on (basically means the 6 hours I spent sanding this is wasted).
But for now this works.
Pre paint.
Painted.
The paint matches the gloss of the stock dash, as well as the color. It's a very nice match.
Late night pic of the texture+color match. If you ask me, it's a near perfect match.

Awesome work once again!![]()
I painted my frame for the screen as well, but the color doesnt match like the one you used. Im gonne redo the paintjob once its all finished and working!
But right now i´m working on a custom center console where i can put the front panel of my carstereo.
Do you have a .jpg copy of the bios image?![]()
I have the .tiff image!
