1995 Volvo 850 T5 -- 2 din install

Still working on cleaning up stuff in the trunk and the wiring (even though no one sees it), definitely a person preference since I want it very very clean.

Unless I missed it in another post, how are you running wires back to the PC (i.e. down the centre hump, down the side of the car)?

Yep! Down the center console, then the center hump under the carpet, under the seat and then to the trunk.

The 12V line from the battery runs under the trim on the left side of the car.

Perfect setup. A very nice job. I like how you used an old 2din radio to mount the screen and the fact that it still slides out like an OEM radio. Very nice!

Hi LiquidKernel. I have to say that what you have done looks amazing.

I also have a Volvo 850 Turbo (T5). I've been researching putting a computer in my car. I also thought about putting the monitor in the dash where the stereo is. I was thinking about putting a 1 DIN computer and 1 DIN motorized monitor in place of my existing SC-815 stereo. I like your idea better however.

I have a couple questions. How are you powering the flat panel? Are you using the connectors that are used by the stereo? Are you running power from another source? Do you have any other pictures of the inside of the stereo cage? I'm interested in knowing how the monitor is connected.
