    Body filler has to have a support under it, otherwise it cracks. And also it can't be used instead of glue.
    Sure did.. I used some more MDF to cover that area, glued with Aryldite, then filled with Body Filler. Same as the area above the relocated switches.

    A bit further on the screen area now. Filled the gap down the bottom in with MDF and glued it solid. Filled it quite a bit with Aryldite as it needs to hold a bit of weight and be able to with-stand tightening of the two screws that hold it to the dash. Also did a bit of spraying with Putty Primer/Filler which will help to clean up the small scratches and find the bits that needs fixing up. Awaiting it to dry now so it can get sanded again.. and again.

    looking fantastic there.. I'm looking at doing the same with my 98 DX GU... where did you get the Xenarc?

    Been a while since i've posted here.. I can't remember where i got the Xenarc from.. but it was somewhere in New Zealand. Quick search on the interweb should find them in Aus.

    i'll get some pics of the completed install and post them here.
