Yea, the lines are more for a round look, I just think the Zenki lights look so aged (even when clean)... I may try to crack them open and polish the insides too... The R33 headlamps are perfect for the lines of the S14 but they are as expensive as the Kouki lamps, plus fabbing to make it look right.

My car is in horrible shape from the loving Florida sun... she'll be looking better soon though.

Nice collection Kris. The FD is a great car. And I'm a fan of the zenki front end. Like you said, that money could be spent on something more important, like perfomance.

like he said, nice work. Can you please give us fellow 95-98 240sx-ers some more info on the screen install in you did for your carpc? I have a 95 and am planning to do the same install here in a month when the weather gets nice. i like the setups with mac minis and the xenarc screens, but yours looks nice with out the corners cut off on the screen like the Xernacs are. What did it take to get screen into the stock bezel? Thanks in advance.

I try not to put too much up, as the more info u put up the more info potential theives have. Anyway... I found that a xenarc would be rather difficult to fit. I have a dynamix screen. Xenarcs are too wide to fit in a 240... with a dynamix the button panel on the bottom doens't clear the ash tray / power outlet. What I did to fix that, was take apart the screen and rebuild it upside down. After that, I cut itno the back side of the top part of the radio trim so the screen would flush up. THen I used the factory cubby that sits under the radio and cut it up so that it would act as a braket and hold the screen in place. THe cubby is screwed to the radio support, and the support that comes with the screen is now screwed to the cubby. I hope that all makes sense...

Not to mention the idea of community. But alas, you have spent countless hours on your car, as we can all tell, and it really does look tight and unique, and I understand your wanting to keep it that way.

Anyways... I have the same suspension setup you have with the KYB's and Teins. I had an issue with my rear mounts however, in that I did not have a bushing surrounding the strut rod comming into the vehicle through the mount hole. So i was getting a loud clack everytime i hit bump when the rod would rattle in the mount hole. Did you have any problems like this? I finally found some Tein rear mount replacements for the 240. They should be in here in a few days and they have pillow ball joints (where i am lacking a bushing), so this should alleviate my problem.

I've been delayed due to costs for the PC, that and an option of a turbo has come my way which is hard to resist. I will be doing tuning via a BikiROM instead of Megasquirt and will run a laptop until I can afford the in-dash screen.
