Anyways... I have the same suspension setup you have with the KYB's and Teins. I had an issue with my rear mounts however, in that I did not have a bushing surrounding the strut rod comming into the vehicle through the mount hole. So i was getting a loud clack everytime i hit bump when the rod would rattle in the mount hole. Did you have any problems like this? I finally found some Tein rear mount replacements for the 240. They should be in here in a few days and they have pillow ball joints (where i am lacking a bushing), so this should alleviate my problem.

Again props on your ride. I will PM you with further "how'd-you-do-it" questions instead of posting them.

mmm sorry I didn't see this post earlier, I just noticed it now. I never had an issue.. I jsut used stock top mounts. My only problem I had with that setup was after a while, the top nut came loose because the suspesion would bottom out at 70+ mph bumps. To fix this, I took the stock bumpstocks, and cut them to about half the lenght and put them in. I also used locktite on the top nut. Problem is gone.

Guess I should update a little myself. lol

I wired up my new audio, my entire interior is stripped and partially sound insulated. I'm working on some rear fill and relocating the battery to the rear in prep for the inverter and PC. Paint is not too far behind hopefully. I also got some new SE 7-spoke wheels. They clear the Z32 brake package incase I upgrade and arent ugly like the tri-stars I had. Oh yea, got SE fogs an the SE lip too.

Here is my temporary amp rack, I was gonna carpet it but I may make a new design since I'm adding the PC into the mix and I'd like some active cooling as well.


I also made the engine repairs, but I'm still burning oild due to what I believe is failing piston rings. I'm aquiring a new engine which is being prepared for some boost.

There is nothing weezy about the KADE, drives like a V8 below 3000rpm and wakes up again at 4000 when the IRMC's open up. I rather enjoy being able to shift at 2000rpm and not have to worry about the car chugging along. Too bad the LS* series motors from GM are truck motors too -- poor Corvette owners...

The 3-spokes are gone, well sorta -- they are in my back yard awaiting sale.

Thanks for the links, I typically live off of NorthWestNissans, Zilvia, FreshAlloy, FloridaDrift, FloridaFail, OrlandoForums and NICO. I need to finish one project and stop starting more. I have two rotaries to deal with plus getting my 240 to look pretty.

hmmm makes me wanna get my car repainted ruby pearl... I miss that color.
