yikes! you gotta work on that bezel
Well my PC was installed successfully in my car for about two weeks. Then the boot times started to get to me, and the volume was not loud enough without significant interference/static.
So, I pulled the PC and installed winXP, trimmed the boot time to about 30 secs, and changed the winxp boot symbol to a honda symbol (silver, matching my car). I bought a Bx55 (electronic 3 way x-over)
Inputs/Outputs: front, rear and subwoofer
Selectable crossover frequencies
Subwoofer: 45Hz–4.2kHz
Low pass (bandpass): 300Hz–4.6kHz
Rear high pass: 65Hz–4.5kHz
Front high pass: 65Hz–4.5kHz
Variable bass boost, 0 – +18dB
Slope rate: 12dB/octave
Signal-to-noise ratio: > 110dB
Remote subwoofer level control
Lowpass input selector: Direct or front/rear mix
Remote on/off power control

These are a bunch of pictures of the PC / Case. It is a Micro ATX form factor desktop style case.
The case has a custom top (hole cut, with a processor fan / grill in the top) moves alot of air.
The fan speed is controlled on the back of the PC (the silver knob), this is neccesary since it gets REALLY loud.
The Last image is a picture of the micro ATX case compared to a regular desktop style ATX case.
REBUILDING!!
Haha yeah I know, it was my first real attempt at bondo'ing. I unfourtantely had to leave on a roadtrip right after i started bondoing/sanding, so I was unable to finish the sanding. I'll get around to fixing it though

Here are some pictures which show the general progression of the fabrication of my lilliput monitor into my civic dash.
This is the dash itself, dremeled to fit the lilliput housing:
Anyways after getting it roughly fitted and very roughly sanded, i decided to work on getting the pc mounted in the trunk.
I took some L brackets and bolted them into the side of my PC. Getting the holes in the pc took quite a bit of ingenuity (sitting for half an hour smashing the drill through the metal).

I then started figuring out how to connect all of my USB devices. I ended up purchasing a 7 port powered hub (2.0), and a new pci usb 5 port card. As far as USB devices go, i've got a dvd burner, AyAy GPS mouse/card, bluetooth dongle, IR dongle, a numpad and a small backlit keyboard. I also will have various items powered (phone / bluetooth headset) and of course the lilliput usb touchscreen.

As soon as the 3-way crossover comes, it will be reinstalled in my car, along with an a8000t (800/1600 watt abahn amp) and an alpine 4x50 watt amp. Anways feel free to critique/comment/ask questions.
Edit: Forgot to mention the PC stats!
It's a celeron 2.8ghz, 512mb Ram, 120gb HD, audigy 2. no optical drives. It is being powered by an Opus 150w. It runs Media Engine.
