Thread: First CarPuter

Ok so basically I get a car in less than 6 months and I want it to be tricked out right as i get it. Heres the part list so far:

Hard Drive: Toshiba 9.5mm slimline 40gb Laptop Hard Drive

Power Supply: Not Chosen

GPS Reciever: Not Chosen

Bluetooth Reciever: Not Chosen

Wireless LAN Adapter: D-Link DWLG122 802.11g

Software

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional

Setting up the Carputer

OK so i got all the parts together, but unfortunately, the drive i ordered was faulty, so I am now awaiting an exchange. I did have a 20 gb laptop drive, so i am using that for OS and Apps, and mp3's and videos will be stored on the 40 gb when it arrives.
