yup.. now i gonna plan out the GPS/Radio/OBD2 and so on.. .. have you dealt with bluetooth GPS ?? i am thinking going bluetooth route rather than the wire GPS , less wires to run!! haha.. but i want to make sure i can get a good signal with bluetooth and dont want the bluetooth to go in and out when i am using teh GPS ?? also for the Radio, know of any good ones that support FM as well as pick up HD signals ?? so far i have Radioshark in mind ??

Bluetooth GPS would be cool. The wiring for USB GPS would not be that bad depending on where you mount you PC. I dont forsee any problems with bluetooth reception due to the small car evnvironment but then again I am not bluetooth or GPS expert.

As for the radio, I dont know any HD radio that would work the current font ends, I would do searching. Minimally make sure it works with the font end of your choice. I personall miss the AM feature as most PC radios are only FM. There is one on MP3Car store that is both FM/AM but I am not sure if it works with Roadrunner.

Let me tell you something, it will come a time that once everything has been working flawlessly for months you will settle only for small modifications, say front end color changes hope that day come for your soon....

hey, bro.. are you still using "iguidance" for gps software or map moneky ?? also, i just got map moneky installed but looks like i only have EU maps.. lol, which is no good for me being in the states, do you know of any way i can get the US maps ?? is purchasing the SDK file through destinator technologies only way ?? .. anyhow let me know my best option for a low cost way to get US maps.. haha, i want the GPS running asap, but dont have funds at the moment for purchasing the sdk for the US maps ?? thanks..

I am using map monkey although iGuuidance is much more accurate but the iDrive Skin I am using works better with MapMonkey, I may be wrong it may be an easy tweak to make iDrive work with iGuidance.

If you want to use MapMonkey or FreeDrive then you must use the Destinator. The Destonator SDK consists of only one unlock version of "DestDll.DLL" file. You could buy it or google for it, I am sure you would find it on some Torrents site. You can buy Destinator maps for North America from Amazon.com just for "Destinator Map for North America". it costs $100 to $130.
