I have the Delorme GPS also and I'm using RR. Just set the GPS to external and have RR embed the Street Atlas USA on the GPS page. Works great for me.

Back in January someone tried to steal my CarPC and while yanking and pulling, he broke the touch screen and left it their all smashed. After a few months, i'm ready to rebuild. that screen was too dim anyway!
Speciman was talking about a transflective... i need to check into that.
so what are your new plans?

The bezel was tore up pretty bad during the robbery so it will need to be rebuilt. The transflective screens are WAY to pricy, so I’m just going to get another low-end 8”. I just pickup a TwEECer RT and wide-band O2 device, so these need to be hooked in too.
right on. i have a tweecer R/T and a innovate LC1 to install this spring too.

Update: I purchased a 7" because I want more room for buttons, front side ports and crap.
(Having everything all smashed may work out after all... gives me an excuse to rebuild it better then before.)
I'll post some pics when i get started working on it again. The next version will have a bullet aluminum face plate.

Update:
Radio: I ordered a HQCT-i from XtroniC yesterday.
LCD: I've been thinking about mounting the screen to the mechanics of a side mirror and placing the mirror-joystick just below the screen. This would allow the screen to tilt in any direction (avoiding the sun/glare) any thoughts?
Performance:
1. I installed a W/B O2 sensor from PLX and looking for a way to hook it into the CarPC (via Serial or USB)
2. Also got a TwEECer/RT that needs to be added to the system... I wonder if anyone has a RR skin for the gage display?
