    New Kicks

just thought I would throw these in here. Will update with more pics as we do more work:

FYI, building a set of kicks to be completely off axis in a GTi/Golf/Jetta sucks.

There is nothing to build from. We essentially had to build from thin air. Some cars just lend themselves better to building kicks than others. Work with what ya got!

nice job red, looking good... but from what i've researched, thin air isn't the best building material for kicks

what size speaker are going in there?

thin air is the worst possible building material. It leads to arguments between loved ones because you're pulling your hair out trying to figure out how in the world you're going to make it all work.

They are 6.5" Focal Be mids.

With the shape of the floor board in the GTi, it made things even more difficult. We needed to get these things about 10 degrees off from each other and at about the same height.

Are you also going to be using the 3W2 mids? Mine have been sitting in a box for about a month now and I am dying to get them in.
