Need some help with my new setup -

Heloo everyone - Need some quick info/help -

Some of you may remember me - Guy who had the Infiniti G20 CarPC setup stolen last Summer (Story if interested)- Well, that car's gone now (the break in had a lot to do with it) and I'm sporting a new ride which I want to add a lil' zest to -
I still have some remaining components from my previous setup which I plan on using - what I was wondering was this - Has anyone ever tried to fit one of these SUBARU WRX dash kits into a VW MK4 00'-05'? It seems like it would fit in the double din slot above the HVAC/Climate Control - Anyone know anything about this? I may be wrong, but I thought I've seen a thread like that someone - maybe in a GTI or Golf - or Jetta??

My setup will be simple (and inexpensive) this time around -

Biostar Mobo (AMD Athlon XP 1.8 Gig)
512 MB Crucial RAM
Samsung 40 GB HDD
BU-303 GPS
Lilliput 7" (no more Xenarc

)
OPUS 150 watts
Slimline Burner

I'd appreciate any help - advice - info - I'm trying to stay away from Bondo and the likes -

no but for some reason people seem to not tend to post in here....

setup sounds nice. as to the screen, it seems like it could fit, but I am no master. I follow the prncipal, if it dont fit, get a bigger hammer.

theres another bezel kit for VWs search for the thread, and i think the rex kit works...

Thanks for the tip - I found that thread later on - too bad it's still in production -
I also found out that the WRX fits, but because it leaves some "visible" gaps around the monitor, an additional surrounding bezel/trim is needed to complete the "stock" look...
