Just wanted to share a funny little illustrative video of my recently recieved keyboard. Highly recommended!

Should be suitable for in car configuration if You have a reachable usb-port.
Got it for budget price also!

this true. but i doubt my keyboard usage will be that heavy. I just dont like the idea of a cord running across the cabin.

Yes I agree but I leaned more against the safe side, I currently have a non-functional bluetooth keyboard from logitech that used to be my favourite until the high tech went lo-tech and broke down on me. I dont want that to happen. I am experience enough problems with the usb-keyboard not responding sometimes until I am inside windows and that is not an option if I want to edit bios i.e.

dude, no one with a bimma should not have an ibus adaptor in their setup! steering wheel button integration and whole load more. do a search for ibus, I recommend the resler kit

Ofcourse I have searched for the ibus integration BUT as everything previously pointed towards IBUS my local tech-dealer tells me that my car has probably got CANBUS and I read somewhere that bmw switched to CANBUS around -01 so I´ll have to check this before I buy any IBUS connectors
