Here is my updated schematic. Please let me know if you have any suggestions, especially when it comes to powering the different components. is a 20A fuse enough for the Opus? Do I need to put a fuse before the Inverter?
The CarNetix is probably overkill for the LCD's, but I plan on adding an Overhead 15" LCD later.

Diagram removed because it has been updated on the first post (to be bandwidth-friendly)

so it depends on how your planning on splitting the main line from the battery. probably going to be running a 0 gauge line down to some sort of distro block, just used fused ones there and that would make everything in tip top shape

OK, I just updated the diagram above, and if you can see, I labeled the three 1x2 distro blocks 1, 2, and 3. So, I am thinking that block 2 is the only one that needs to be fused, since the amplifier has built in fuses, and I am planning on fusing the Opus with a 20 amp fuse. Is this correct? Thanks Anshu!

Actually, the Carnetix is 60W @ 12V, and the inverter will more likely be around 300W @ 12V, so I will probably need seperate fuses for these items. Is this correct?

If I were doing this I would put fuses on 2 and 3. Individual Fuses on each item.

Thats a input to 2 individualy fused,d block. something like that

and Id do number one with something like this

    Thanks Anshu
I had forgotten that the distro blocks were set up with multiple fuses. I will definitely do it this way. So, 1 would be an un-fused distro block, 2 would be a fused block, with an 8A fuse going to the CarNetix, and a 30A fuse going to the inverter, and 3 would be fused with a 50A fuse going to the Amplifier and a 20A fuse going to the Opus?

That sounds about right but i havent had much luck finding super small AGU fuses(the round barrel ones) So i use 20's and then a ATM(blade style) after that with something smaller.

My weekend activity was to create a subwoofer enclosure for the stock subwoofer. In a few weeks, this will be replaced with an 8" Kicker subwoofer. Here's the pics!

OK, I have ordered some more parts and I have gotten all of the tools that I need. The Transflective Touchscreen should be here tomorrow, then I can start fabricating the bezel on the center dash. I also have a whole bunch of Dynamatting to do which should take me most of this weekend.

I have changed my diagram a little bit (actually, I completely redesigned it). I tried to keep the scale as close as I could, and I added more detail to it (all power wires, fuses, ignition wire, etc.)

The major design change is to have a single 1x4 power distribution block instead of 3 1x2 blocks. I also moved one of the video splitters to the trunk, added a television tuner/AV selector, moved the inverter to the trunk, and I am going to try the onboard audio before buying an external USB soundcard.

Any suggestions? (especially with fuses/ignition/startup/shutdown controlling)

Bump. Changed the diagram. Here's the tiny version.

So, I am going to try to make a "removable" shelf that will go under the cargo floor. Maybe put a plexiglass window. The trouble is, I don't know if my VGA will like it if I have a coupler along the line. Maybe I'll get a VGA repeater to amplify and clean the signal, and serve as the breakaway port. My goal is to be able to drop the shelf in, and plug all the cables in easily. This will take some careful planning, but I'm sure it's possible. What do you think?
