Well I'm Stalled right now because the touchscreen function of my LCD is not working. If I can not get it working again I am not going to install it, I don't know if I can get another one, if I can't I'll have to find another large touchscreen and adjust the mount.

    Thank you for the interest.

That is a neat way to install the motherboard. I supposed your going to power it off an inverter. I also like the monitor housing good work , and smart getting a junker too.. Did you get the Holux GPS of Ebay? What software are you using for NAV?

That's awesome....sometimes I could go back in time to when I bought my car and picked something that would house a bigger screen.... oh well.

What did you make the screen bezel out of?

The bezel is made out of wood, fibeglass and Bondo.

    Looks good so far

Just a little heads up so you know ahead (I had to find it out the hard way in my car after install once the summer came around) but wood + fiberglass and bondo doesn't work well together, wood expands at a different rate than the fiberglass and bondo which unfortunatly then causes the seams between the bondo/fiberglass and the wood to become visable and eventualy the paint starts to crack on the seam, had to redo my dash panel to remove all the wood out of it cause I had that happen

Yes I got the holux off of Ebay, I paid about $50 Cdn shipped. I have both Microsoft S&T and iGuidance I like elements of both but I am still looking for something better for me.

No I haven't finished it but I am still working on it. I bought a new house and moved in the winter and I'm setting up my new shop right now. I have also got a new micro atx comp that I'll be using. Plus the touchscreen function on my 12" stopped working I still haven't figured that out. I'll update pictures once I get my shop all set up. Thanks for your interest.
