New project, 2000 Excursion 4x4 limited

Hey guys, I have been lurking around for a few days reading what I can and getting as much info as possible. Let me just get this out of the way,

    THANKS FOR THE HELP..

Now that I've said that, here is what I have currenty: Stock radio and 6 disc changer, XM Roadie2, DVD HU, no frills China generic, 2 - 7" LCDs in the headrests. This comes together with a PIE X3 Changer adapter all located in the console.

Here's what I am looking to get out of this thing. GPS/NAV, DVD, MP3's, ODB2 diags, and wireless, so if I need to work I can.

I have read many posts on computer speed and bought an ACORP 7KM400QP board off ebay for $29 shipped. I have a spare Duron chip to go on it. They overclock well. I have a lot of HDDs so a 40Gb at first. I am looking for a 7" touch screen to mount in the factory radio location and another as a pop up in the console for the passenger to watch. I will post my potential schematic for critics, next week so people can help me see what I am missing.

It looks like there are a ton of helpful ppl here and some wicked setups.

    Talk to you soon.

Sorry I have let my post slip. I received my board and have been trying to configure it. I guess it was not such a great deal after all. I originally wanted a low voltage CPU ( duron 800 ) as the machine really isnt going to be taxed but, the board is locked at a 200 FSB ( tried 3 bios flashes to no avail ) and I must get a chip to fit. I'm guessing a 1400+ or 3000+.
I have completed the houseing for the board and it measures a little bigger than a piece of paper 9x11x4. I have a 70mm fan mounted for exhaust. I am using a 40Gb Hdd and plan on getting the M1-ATX 90w power supply which should mount in the box as well.
I will have my schematic posted the weekend and have a link to a few pics as well.

the CPU is an AMD 2500+ with 1GB DDR 400. Pics on the case are coming.

    Here's what its going into.

Here are the pics of the case:

I have received my GPS, a Delorme Earthlink USB. Seemed to be new but I am having issues getting it to link to satiellites. I can see them, and its talking to them but its not locking on to them.
I also purchased my M1-ATX and an XM PCR-1000. I was having issues finging a HU with Aux in ability and XM controls. It seems they use the same port or so a dealer said. So bought the PCR-1000 and will hook into the USB. Any thoughts so far?

Update: Got the GPS working through Street Atlas 2006. Seems to work really well. It didnt work hardly work at all in the house, it would never lock on. I used it going out to lunch today and it locked on in seconds.. Whew.. I also replaced my 40 Gb Hdd with a 160Gb only $39.99, couldnt help it.
I have ordered the 7" TS from Short-circuit as well now. Haven't hooked up the xm-PCR yet but it fits the roadie 2 antenna I currently have. One less thing to buy.
If someone could help me with my power wiring I would appreciate it.

Also with my additional USB Items I will need a powered USB hub. Any ideas on how to integrate that with the power wiring, I don't want an inverter.

    TIA

I'm powering my USB hub with a 12V adapter from Radio Shack. Take the hub in and they will hook you up.

Well, unexpected vehicle issues have hindered my project. The plugs in the Ford V10s and V8s are prone to stripping and blowing the plug out. This is what has happened to me and I am forced to sell the equipment I have purchased in order to replace my heads. Here is what I have purchased thus far and is for sale. Sorry no trades.

Computer, HDD and PSU as one unit - $210 ( keeping memory )
(This is up and ready to go with OS and Drivers.)

    Earthmate USB GPS - $50
    XM PCR1000 USB XM Receiver - $35
    7" Touchscreen LCD from Short-Circuit - $170

Plus ACTUAL shipping. I am more than happy to estimate shipping before hand.

    Paypal is preferred.

I hate it as I have not even gotten started. Life happens :-(
