First Toyota MRS CarPC here? (56k !!!!)

Hi mates, first post over your place and first: thx a lot for the good job and all nice threads!!!
I read and read many threads here for 2 months, and now it's time for to introduce you my project.

I'm french, and got a Toyota MRS, here's my ride:

I'm working now on my carPC, and it's really a challenge with an MRS, cause there's no room nowhere

    What do i need:
    -Medias support
    -GPS nav with voice
    -Bluetooth hands free
    -OBD2 monitoring
    -Sound improvement

So my project started with: sound improvement:

    Front : Focal Polyglass 165V1

    Rear: Infinity 693i

Sound is now really nice for a little roadster

    Now the carPC:

I choose to go with laptop, cause i need to use it out the car sometimes so here's the checklist:

    -Portable DELL Latitude C610 (1ghz - 512Mo 20Go...)
-Docking Station Dell C/PortII : on the way !
-Screen Touch 7" VGA : need a "in dash" one, cause i dont want to put it in ths stock DIN room, and want a "invisible" system when i'm out the car more info soon
-Sound Card AUDIGY 2 ZS PCMCIA : Do i really need one? i'm going with Laptop through Headunit's aux-in so does C610 got enought quality sound onboard?? plz need advice for this!
-GPS PCMCIA Etak GPS1 what a crap to install it under XP but works good now
    -Dongle Bluetooth USB
    -OBD2 ELM323

-Headunit Blaupunkt SantaCRuz MP36 : for use a standard tuner on short trips, and use the aux input cause dont want to go through standalone AMP in my small car
    -Focal Polyglass 165V1 for front
    -Infinity 693i for rear.

I'm going to use CF i think, have done some test yet, and it's really want i need to control the medias and apps, here's some screens about my tests:

Nav test with French Map and voices: OK !

    OBD2 under CF: OK !

DynOBD as a standalone app: OK!

All hardware and software tests are ok at the moment, but the big challenge will be the integration...

Some more news later with photoshop pics for some advices from you.

    Thx

    Dabeny

This car as some few differents name all over the World

-MR (without "2") in France and can be MR MK3 cause it's the third generation
    -MR2 Roadster in UK

I heard they didnt call it the MR2 in france due to that sounding somewhat like "merd". Not sure how misguided this is but i thought it mildly funny, true or not.
impressive to be able to fit anything into one of those TBH - i was going to get one but resorted to the Celica so i could actually carry other things with me instead of having to post them in advance!

I'm just an active member on SpyderChat, the US board for Toyota MR Mark3, and i say it again US owners call it MRS or simply "Spyder"

Here's the original badge for US spec MR2 MK3:

And just take a look at:
    http://spyderchat.com/phpBB2/index.php

You'll see how US owners call it

Maybe some people call it Mister2 or whatever but they don't know it
