This is basically a placeholder for the near future. It looks like there's a number of us on here that are working on our B5/B6 A4's so hopefully we can all learn from each other

The mini will go in the glove box. As far as electrical wiring, it's probably one of my weak points. Will need to figure out where to tap for what, etc. Since the car comes with the upgraded Bose package, I will be leaving the stock HU in (it matches the rest of the car...couldn't get rid of it!) espescially since the front speakers are powered by the head unit and I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a new amp, etc. So until I get bored and have extra money, I'm probably going to end up doing a gooseneck-type install for the LCD like this (borrowed from cdevelasco's 2000 A4 thread) since I will be keeping the stock head unit using Car2PC adapter:

I'm open to suggestions as to where else to place an LCD screen without losing the factory head unit.
