It's great to see retro vehicles get some much-deserved loving - having painted, detailed* engines and massive speakers are great at a show, but a 25-year old car will turn heads on every single road its driven down, bolt-on bull**** accessories or not. I salute the work that goes into this project!
My only criticism is that the engine swap should have been done first - once you've got a V6, you don't need a stereo
*for ****'s sake, just use the word "wash."
Yeah I wish I had the space to do an engine swap. Maybe in two summers....
Right now the car runs great and the stereo is amazing, I have it up here with me at school, but school leaves hardly any free time as it is, so its just a transport vehicle for now. I might towards the end of next summer do more finishing work and hopefully get a chunk of body work in, i want to clear up the couple rust spots, maybe even replace the front fenders. My buddy dented the **** out of one while it was stored in his garage......
This next summer i'm planning to participate in a program called Bike and Build. Its a great program where you bike across the country and help out at habitat for humanity sites and other affordable housing sites across the country. Its going to be awsome, but it puts the car off to the side for the time being....
