When I was in the planning phase, I searched everywhere but there wasn't many 7th gen Accord owners who had successfully integrated a carputer in their Accord coupe. The worklogs that I did see, I did not like the way they **butchered** the interior because I wanted to do something which can be reserveable so hence I decided to go a different route (which I thought might not be achievable, thats why no body else tried it)

I have a 4 guage wire running from the battery to a distribution block in the back (behind rear seat) and from there, I got a 12 guage wire coming out, which is powering the computer. As for the screen, its been powered by 12v line from a M2-ATX.Originally Posted by alertik

I put the screen in the bottom part with a help of a dash kit and I can easily remove that and put the factory part back in and everything will be OEM again.
Almost all installs that I've seen on 7th generation Accords, people modify the bottom area and install a fixed LCD with a custom build bazel (instead of the retractable LCD that i used) which in most cases is permanent.
so does your door still close and hide the din???
if so where'd ya find the din housing? I see the metra one but it doesn't mention anything about still having door functionality.
Ideally I'd like to keep the car looking as stock as possible with "hidden hotness."lol

Nope door does not close because there is no door.I have completely removed the cubby and in its place installed a Metra kit.
so your screen is more tilted forward?? seems like the lcd comes out but the big power buttons in the way so it cannot tilt up to see it easier it kind of has a down pitch..... is that true??
thinking about going this route but if its going to be looking down that kind of sucks.

Nopes. Mine is perfectly straight. The big volume button does not interfere with it.
