    Your trunk turned out nice. Did you want the grill over the speaker white? I would have stuck to gray or black. Just my preference.

    That is a tough one on the screen. Recessed might help with glare and doesn't draw as much attention but you went transreflective right? The flush looks a bit cleaner. Would your climate controls be flush then too? I think either way would look great.

    the grill over the speaker is actually aluminum but i'm going to make a frame that slips in side the opening (will sit flush with the top of the amp rack) and it will be covered in black grill cloth. I'll also make a matching piece for the top of the x-over

    my ac controls wont be flush, maybe i should just recess the screen at the same depth as the a/c controls

    Yes, if your going for a clean OEM look, then recessed is the way to go.

    This isn't the final product, i have a few more go rounds with the spot putty and the sandpaper but this will give you a better idea of what is going in that spot:


    here is a wider shot, the a/c controls need to be lowered a bit and there are some sanding issues...but:
