2002 RSX type S ... Will I ever be done?

I finally finished my computer install it went pretty well. I ended up having to remove about 40% of my interior to get all the wires run but think it went pretty well.

The MII12K and Morex case.

4 Guage amp wiring kit.

Wiring running through the center console.

The amp wire comes through the glove box and across the passenger side to the trunk. The rest of the wiring runs through the center console under the carpet to the trunk.

I mounted it to a peice of mdf cut to fit in the side of the trunk. I wanted to make sure it didn't interfere with access to the spare tire well. I made some brackets and to mount the computer to the mdf. I bought a shorter Y cable and I am gonna get rid of that loop. The ground is 4 guage and about 3 feet long. It is grounded to a 1/4-20 bolt that is holding the mount to the case on the outside and grounded to the power supply on the inside. I am having some noise issues. I think the ground is good but I am using the onboard audio and i don't think it is sheilded well enough. I am gonna get a USB sound card and see if that helps. Any comments?

It fit in there like a glove. I need to hide my brackets and figure a way to lock it in from the top. But it stays in there when I am driving. I think it might pop out if I get too wild.

I have some software and grounding issues to chase down but the hard part is out of the way. Leave me some comments and ideas please!

And one more thing. A tribute to all the zipties that had to die to make this happen.

hey, that looks great! I want to make a compartment cover like yours for my amp. what fabric did you use to cover the mdf? Keep up the good work.

It is the closest matching grey outdoor carpet they had at Lowes on the carpet rack. I would like to find a better match, but, I have really been just trying to tweak my system and get it a little more reliable.
