1991 Honda Crx SI

This is my first carputer and im really looking forward to working on it. I really would like to get the most out of this project as I can, from mp3z to ECU programing and everything in between. I have been building computers for along time now and its about time I stick one in my car...

Here is a list of parts I have on hand right now

-Optima yellowtop 34/78
-Stinger 0G power wire
-250W Opus DC-DC PSU

Screen
-Lilliput 8.4" touchscreen

Sound system
-kicker Resolution Component set
with 6.5: midrange and 1" tweeter
-Kicker RMB8 8" midbass
-Kicker CompVR 12 from like 2004-5 the new silver ones. (looking at getting a L7 soon)
-kicker kx400.1

parts I need to order

-USB GPS receiver
-bluetooth
-night vision cameras (front and rear)
-controller board to control the climate, windows, rear hatch and locks

Ok guys I got a question. Has anyone ever removed this 8.4" from its case....cuzz I cant seem to get my case to come apart. I got all the screws out and it doesnt just want to come apart. I dont plan on using the case but would like to keep it around and not scratch it all up. Oh yea I already did a search and could only find info on the 7"

i got an 88 si but its my racecar. when i get back from iraq im going to buy a 90/91 si in really good conditon and its going to get a carputer as well.

where do you plan on mounting the screen? i plan on ditching the climate controls and using the pc to control them, and putting the lcd where the climate controls and stereo sit..

Got A few more things in the mail 2day. An optima yellow top battery and a american thunder flowmaster exhaust kit. I already installed the exhaust but here is the tip for it. Im w8n until spring to stick it on.

the case should have also locking tabs, use credit card to slide it in between parts, and unlock those, I have similar lilli taken out of its case this way.
