Nice install, and very nice ride.
Its very clean and tastfull.
Keep up the great work!
Mmm....you could potentially tie the pc earth (negative) down to an (vehicle) earthpoint close to the carputer - this might rid you of the problem.
I am finalizing my carputer enclosure for the Commell LS-372 board, and will get it in in the next few weeks - will then do some tests to determine what will work best.
We may even need some pretty decent filtering caps on the psu-inputs to the pc and LCD, especially the lcd - and as close to the lcd as possible.
Luv your ICC, looking neat - and with the Core-2-Duo logo, no mistaking for what's driving it. Did you get the overlay controls working, i.e if you adjust fan-blower etc, it should come ontop of your Centrafuse display, and turn off after a few seconds....
Would be cool to see your work we should catch up sometime, maybe even go for a horn up Reefton
Can I get some more info adout the the caps and you said tie the pc to ground is that of the mainboard ground (black)or the case?
Bean - great build. CNX, getting an overlay soon. Can I ask a coupla questions? Is going the Commell LS-372 much better than a mini ITX mobo? Is there any out there that will do the right vido mode- Or I have to go the CGA card? Some mini ITX are 12v in, should I still go a dc-dc supply? And.... get the amplified Ford audio cable? Or can the pc gain it up enough? Thanks
btw its mynameisplayer...dang typo
I’m using a MSI Fuzzy GM965 mini-itx mainboad with a pcie slot an ATI arcade vga card from ozstick.com.au
made a custom cable. Got a pcie riser card and pcie extension card from logicsupply.com.
