2005 Scion TC

Just started buying all the pieces. Hope to get everything done by April.

List:
X - Lilliput 7" touchscreen EBY701-NP/C/T
X - Double DIN chassis made by blk02si (see his awesome thread here)
_ - MBI3368G Intel 852GM Mini ITX
_ - Intel Celeron M 1.46GHz
X - 80GB 2.5" HDD / 512MB RAM
_ - OPUS 120W
X - BU-353 + iGuidance
_ - AudioControl Matrix (if necessary)
_ - Road Runner w\ custom WMP11-inspired skin

Still kinda iffy on the cpu/mb combo. Might get a SP13000 or a MII instead. Here are a couple shots of the skin so far

i like the skin, is there a public release of it? do you know blk02si's chasis will directly bolt on to the scion?

I haven't test fitted the chassis yet, so I can't say for sure. But I don't think it will be a problem.

The skin is just something I've been working on during my free time. Many of the icons/background/etc are borrowed from other people's work so I'm not sure how that all works out... but if you want it, I guess I can release it when it's done. I hope I don't in trouble for it

i've got an 05 tc also and have been thinking about different ways to mount the screen. it looks like the door is going to have to be removed, but i wanted to see what you thought about the chassis and the screen etc.

i had someone mount a lcd and make a molding for me for my 06 scion tc. i might be looking to mount the lcd another way being that the workmanship is less than stellar. would like to know if anyone here does that or if the mentioned mount would work and how much effort/modifying it would take to do it. if i could pay someone to mount my LCD in it and slap it right in my console, that'd be the best thing ever.

that skin looks GREAT! how's that coming along? i have the same car, and now i'm itching to get started on a carPC of my own . . .

The skin is almost done, just a couple more screens to do. I should get my cpu/mb tomorrow so I'll be able to get everything running this weekend to see how it performs and if I need to make any changes to the button positioning/sizing.

As for the screen mounting, I'm still waiting for my dash kit to arrive. Then I'll be able to work on fitting it all together.
