so... not sure if you have it posted some where else... but how exactly do you have the frontend/os set up to work off so little input?

    Hello Dennis,

I didn't explained how it works somewhere else.
The principle is that a one precise moment you don't need all the commands displayed on the screen, so we can define only commands we need at one precise moment in one function context.
i.e : if i chosed audio, then commands displayed are changing, it allows to chose first your music that you validate with pressing the knob, playing starts, once playing started then you can act on volume and position controls, seek etc

It's the same for each function, only the gps is actually giving me difficulties to enter coordinates but i'll fix this as weel when i'll have enough time to do it, i'm running too many projects at once (bmw, customer project etc)

I have right now a solution to enter coordinates without keyboard using only the powermate, the focus juggling was a bit painful between other things
I've tested this with a sample key, it works ok, now have to write the whole thing to make it work in situation
The keyboard idea for the gps coordinates is on the way to be definitely banned from the Mercedes

Now the results of the thing as is today, after a week leap time, she finds that the new toy is fun to use, so i think that i reached the target, make it simple or simplier than a car's stereo.
