here we are, i stoled some time today to bring the screen in this car, it was not as simple as it could seem...everything is glued on the dashboard and i had a big difficulties to pass the wires so they remain invisible but it was worth.

The screen is not a touch screen, i don't need it anymore, i modified my software to be used with the Powermate only as the screen is a bit far from driver's seat, still no keyboard and it won't be anyway.

Well it looks like an added piece that's right but for me the objective is complete, i wanted something to be clean without messy wires everywhere.
Next sunday i'll try to steal some more time to insert the power amp and the computer. I already have an idea to make them remain completely stealth. I also have to make a plate on which i can affix the Powermate knob. The plate will replace the headunit's space, no need anymore of this crappy stereo

After that, i plan to add a 15 " top flip screen for the rear passengers.

Each vent, just under the tiny window is going to help evacuate temperature generated by the power amp.
Same thing on the other side of the car where the computer will be inserted next time.
In summer time when the car is exposed to sun rays and because the hardware is completely enclosed, this will help to keep the hardware in
reasonable range of temperature. Hot air is always going up.





power amp can't be seen anymore from inside or outside, next week it'll be the computer's turn et voilà a nice stealth install.

Now building the part needed to replace the car radio and drive the whole computer with a simple Powermate...



I used an old dvd player face i cutted in two parts to get something regular on both side, some more work to do with this and hopefully the final result will be simple and elegant. This thing have to be ready for sunday when i'll mount the computer in the car.

The support for the powermate is near to be finished, below with primer, i had to correct the general shape which was not perfectly aligned due to the two parts assembled in one.

Ok, the faceplate is ready

She wanted it has the same color as the car....so glossy chrome plexiglass to add depth and chrome pins to break a bit this green

If it was for me i would rather do it in some dark color or black...but it's her car

I had to add light and contrast on pics as they were really difficult to pull off the very dark inside of the car or my camera is maybe definitely dying
