No comments...? not even on how long the website takes to load?
Iv done a fair amount of work since my last work log, one of them being a website so I don't have to keep updating it wherever I go so if you'd like to know about my install so far check out my CarPC site http://hacks.andrewstrausberg.com/CarPC/ so check it out. I must warn you though, its for high bandwidth connections.

I am on broadband cable, in Australia and it took quite a while to download all the pictures from your site. What size (K) are they?
I admire the way that you have made it fit, but I reckon that a larger cover plate over the hole would look better.
I have never been an admirer of "Scotch-Loks" as a method of joing wires. Are you eventually going to terminate all the wires in your heat shrinkable joiners? That would be much neater and probably safer.
Are you worried that someone might take a liking to your GPS mouse, and grab it? Or do you only put it out when you are in the car?
Let us know when you have some more piccys up.
The pictures are BIG about 1.5MB each, there is no real reason, Im just lazy. Could you elaborate on what you mean by cover plate? I have no plans on changing any of the connections because I find the ones Im using adequate, and I have tested them. I never really considered someone stealing the mouse, its cable is pretty long and it dose weave through my firewall and then some... so if they want it they will have to cut/break it. However, it would probably be a good idea for me to relocate and/or change its appearance.

Another small update... I added some pictures of the new project, Fusion Brain. I also compressed all the pictures so instead of 31 pictures = 44.4MB now they equal 10.3MB making the load time over four times faster. Finally I added some links back to here for comments as well as for Fusion Brain if anyone stumbling over my site is interested.

This will probably be my last update for a while, if its not forever. I am waiting on my new lilliput to come in the mail but besides that... on a sadder note my car is "totaled". A while back a 16 year old girl on her cell phone decided that stop signs didn't apply to her, since then my car has been in the shop for over a month as they try to find parts. Well the other day they gave up and the insurance company totaled it, now I have to go through all the red tape and bull **** as I try to get whatever I can out of my $10,000 baby. I'm still really ****ed about all of this so forgive me if this doesn't make sense...
Check out the site and tell me what you think.
