looks nice. How long did that take you?
Well, I finally started cutting into my dash of my '95 Tahoe.
This is the dash with the aftermarket DVD/CD/MP3/XM Radio.
This is the radio and controls with the dash removed.
This is the dash out of the truck before cutting.
This is the 8" Touchscreen bezel and the radio bezel that is going into the dash.
This is the dash all cut. Note the 2 pieces the were removed completely.
I used Platic Weld Epoxy to hold the bezels in place before laying down the Bondo. It stinks like a Nail Sallon. Now you can see what it's going to look like.
I used short hair Bondo-Glass to do the main molding and support. This stuff is a pain to wok with, just had to take my time.
Now it's taking shape, alot of sanding, regular bondo, and glazing putty.
Before using high build primer. You can see how the dash is coming together.
First coat of primer on, everything looks really good, one or two little spots need attention, but nothing major.
Stay Tuned.......

So far, it has been a little over a week. I work alot, so I have to squeeze it in when I can. I am planning on having it all painted by tonight. Then get the screen back in this weekend and all wired up. I'll Post more pics as I progress.
Painted with Metallic Textured Paint.
I will be posting more tomorrow, it's pouring out today, so, I can't get the dash in. Hope it's better in the A.M.
