Had some free time and since it was nice out

(the color is alot closer in person looks nothing like being that far off)

I had to order the usb cable adapter for the touch controler through Dynamix and that wont be here until next week that kinda sucks because we have a meet this weekend but its the price I pay for carelessness.

No real progress this week at all. Im waiting to finish the bezel until my touch cable comes in, which should be the end of this week. so the only update is I got a new keyboard, I wanted a Ione kbq-20 or the P-20 (same KB i think just different color) but noone has them in stock online for a resonable price and no local vender can find a supplier with any stock. I decided to go with an Adesso wireless slimtouch mini KB. It was bouble the price I wanted to spend but it beats the hell out of the big PS2 KB and mouse I was using

Just a small update, I am still waiting on the touch panel cable from dynamix. Its been 2 weeks and everytime I call to check status they tell me they are expecting it next week and then they will ship it out. On the up side the new keyboard is 100 times better then the old way. I also decided to do verizons broadband. I picked up the USB720 usb modem on may 1st so nomore hunting for wifi signals.
Will post pics of it later

Another vibe owner! I like your install, just a question though. What did you build that hatch cover out of? Id like to do something similar to that, only a bit hinged. Great install though!

looking good man. just a little tip for you, that white label in the glove box with all the numbers & letters on it is your option tag, it needs to be referenced sometimes for replacement parts & sometimes for servicing, it also has the paint & trim info for the car on there. next time you have the PC out, you should take a good digital photo of it, you can then print it & laminate it or stick it somewhere else or whatever, may save you some headaches later, especially since it may need to be accessed at the most inopportune times, like in the dealer for servicing or worse in a body shop, just fyi

    cars looking good

also, I have that keyboard in my office, I love it

Thanks! The hatch cover is made of 3/4" mdf Just sits in place, I did think about seperating the piece covering the amps so I could hinge the beauty board over the sub but didnt like the seperated look of the 2 pieces.

Hey Thanks, I wasnt sure if anyone else would say anything about the tag. I snapped a pic and have a laminited copy that I keep with my owners manual. The cars at the body shop now getting some stuff fixed from a minor accident that I had a couple weeks ago. I didn't even think to give them the copy cause I took the glovebox out so I could try to get the broken plexi fixed, and clean up the wires a little.
That keyboard rocks!!! It was my second choice (I wanted the p-20 scorpious) but I think it was a better choice in the long run as the pad is alot easier to use then the thumb stick.

it might be a good idea to call the shop & give them the lowermost line of numbers, it's be either a wa#### or a u###, if they don't have the # they may just try & work around it & it could cause them grief which may hurt the job in the end good luck with it dude
