I dont think that there is any reason for anyone to be rude here. Isn't this forum here to help each other out and to share ideas? Whats the point in criticizing people?

by the way a great way to find nearly any file (hint, hint) is www.sharereactor.com it works with edonkey or overnet. go there and check it out. the forum on the site is also a good resource.

I'm sorry but I have to comment... I don't mind people badmouthing something if they actually have a reason, but doing so because they have no idea what they are talking about and just want to be annoying really gets to me.

FYI, here's a list of Microsoft "Trail" software:

    Visual Studio .NET 60-day Trail
    SQL Server 2000 120-day Trail
Windows 2000 Advanced Server 120-day Trail

Ah geeze I'm getting tired of copying links.

Here's a list of 14 other Microsoft Products available for trial , directly on the Microsoft.com web page... Note that most products that Microsoft carries you can get Trial versions of...

So what was that piont that you were triying to mahke about leahrning to sphel there PBMax? You know there is a difference between "Trail" and "Trial"... People make mistakes, you don't need to insult them just because they made a typo.

I got upset because all the necessary info was posted yet instead of looking at the posted info someone has to ask. I also didn't like him asking for illegal software. Most people will ignore most post like this. I just stated that it can be found if you look for it. He doesn't know how to look. Calls up MS so he can get a version that doesn't exist then asks for where he can find it again. How smart is that? Then he starts to insult me. I do admit I should have ignored that. But my first comments weren't meant to offend.

    Any ideas?
You know that XP has that thing that if you do to many Hardware changes (like try to run XP from the same CD on more then one PC) it wont run.

in case anyone is interested, there's a decent XP Visual Style that simulates MCE very nicely, with active desktop support, etc. check out the neowin.net forums, in the completed visual style section.

Right...I got it with my desktop..but not my laptop, DAMN IT....I wonder if Microsoft will ever make this addition available for XP pro users.

    XP embedded

Windows media center, is derrived off of Windows Xp embedded. basically it takes the core compenents from windows XP and creates a new operating system.

You can infact create your own operating system off of Windows XP embedded or Windows CE.

Microsoft has a pre-built OS for in car usages, and you can write applications such as an interface, things like that.

    Neat eh ?
