$140 isnt to bad (gonna suck if I buy it and dont like it!!) but it says "MUST be purchased with hardware"
Also..whats a "XPC"?
I plan on running my MixMeister Pro5 for my MP3s, but heard the Media 2005 was still pretty cool, but new to this! Thanks for the answers!
At NewEgg, you can buy a cd-rom audio cable to fulfill the requirement.Quote:

lol..I thought it was an Xbox modded computer!! I really like that Xbox thing, to bad it doesnt run windows..I have a X layin around..dern it all! (then it would be easy to play games as well!! hehe)
You have an XBox layin around? I wanna backup the hard drive of a XBox to see if the OS will run on a computer. But I dont know anyone with an XBox that will lemme take the hard drive out, put it into my computer, and back it up onto my hard drive.
Thanks Gruv for the description. Yeah XPC is becomming the best kind of computer you can get. The system I'm buying holds the AMD Athlon XP CPU which can hit up to like 2.8gb or something like that. The memory can hit up to 1gb I belive. They have other models too, like 64 Bit systems or P4 systems. They are just barebone systems. Motherboard, Case and Power Supply. They also come with a SilentX Power Supply, the worlds best.
Why Pay 140, get it for free from Frodo ;) :lol:Quote:

You can install it as a dual boot system to test it, Have both Windows XP and Windows Media Center 2005. But if your into music, movies, games and **** like that, your never going to turn it off. Its super fast, its extreamly clear even at its lower resolution, especialy at lower resolution, becuse they designed it so you can plug it into your TV and program a IR Remote for it, and it works like a fully interactive TV Browser. So you can press up or down to select DVD or TV or Radio or whatever (theres tons of diff things) and it runs fully through your Computer. If you have any kind of high speed internet, you can get free HDTV and free Internet Radio (which I haven't turned off since). But your TV has to be HDTV compatible.
All regular TV lines carry a HDTV signal, I dont know if any of you have noticed, but I have, that the regular TV signal seems somewhat weaker (for those with regular TV), well thats because the extra signal being processed through the lines and the air.
MixMeister is a DJ program I use to listen to my MP3s..I ran nightclubs for a long time and this is what we were using last few years, it is the BEST DJ MP3 program IMO..and its a joy to work with. Shows BPM, timelines, mixes between tracks, lets you search for song/artist with ease, has duel outputs (play MP3s and videos at same time..like graphics..or use the music video in the mix) their website is great, I can hook people up with a copy if anyone looks and likes what they see. Best thing is the playlists function..I have country, rock, jazz, blues, hip-hop, rap, etc folders..I click on them and play that music I have set into my playlists. For the car enviroment, it would be AWSOME!!
And can I really get a copy to play with from Frodo? I love that little bugger (we ARE talking about Frodo from LOTR right??)
And I believe I am just going with a normal desktop system thats using a power inverter with a 15" flat monitor up front, I actually want the full size tower for the looks that I am doing (buying a new Compaq for the project) so will have plenty of room for all sorts of weird programs like my MM Pro5.
i cant wait till my computer arrives on thrusday....im gonna throw media center 05 on there and see how she runs, from the comments it looks like it will be good. :D
