    Most of the comp issues are with the graphics and tuner cards. Many sites now sell OEM copies of MCE that come with the remote and receiver.

    Its will work with any computer and if you want to use a tv and dont have PCI or AGP you can buy the diamond PVR600, its USB and MCE compatiable. Depending on what video card you have you may get an error upon loading MCE that your video card is not supported. Theres no way around this but MCE will still work. You may also want to try media portal which has a MCE skin and they are coming out with a skinner real soon that will let you customize the program to sweet in a auto.
